Dog grooming in the Junction, Toronto
A calm, one-on-one grooming studio on Dundas West. One dog in the room at a time, no cages, and nobody watching the clock.
Services
Every groom starts with a quick chat about your dog's coat, skin and nerves. The price on the tag is where it starts; we confirm the final number before we pick up the scissors.
Warm bath, blow-dry and brush-out, with a neat tidy around the eyes, feet and sanitary areas. For in-between visits.
Everything in the Bath & Tidy, plus a full haircut in the style you want, finished by scissor. Bring a photo if you have one.
A short, gentle introduction for puppies under six months: a bath, the dryer, a face and feet tidy, and a lot of praise.
For huskies, shepherds, labs and anyone who leaves fur on the couch. Loosening bath, high-velocity dry and a thorough undercoat rake.
Clipped and filed smooth so they don't click on the floor or snag the sofa. No appointment needed during opening hours.
Enzyme toothbrushing and a gentle ear clean with a vet-recommended solution. Add it to any bath or groom.
Prices
A heavily matted coat can take longer. If it will cost more, we call you first, and nothing is added until you say yes.

How a visit works
Most dogs are with us for two to three hours. They spend all of it being groomed or resting on a mat, never waiting in a crate.
Five minutes at drop-off to meet, sniff around and talk through the cut, the coat and anything that worries them.
Gentle shampoo matched to their skin, water at the right temperature, and no other dogs barking at the next tub.
Hand-dried, clipped and finished by scissor at the pace your dog sets. Breaks and treats are part of the plan.
We text you a photo when they're nearly done, so you arrive as they finish and they're never left waiting in a kennel.

Reviews
Mochi used to shake the whole way to the groomer. Now he pulls me to the door. That says everything.
Theo sent me a photo when she was almost done, so I walked over and she was ready the minute I got there.
Our husky's undercoat was everywhere. After the de-shed our couch is a couch again. Worth every dollar.

Fifteen years groomingEight of them in busy salons. The last seven here, one dog at a time.
Meet the groomer
I spent years in big salons where ten dogs waited in crates for their turn. The cuts were fine. The dogs were stressed.
So in 2019 I opened a small studio on Dundas West with one table, one tub and one rule: the dog in front of me is the only dog I'm grooming. If they need a break, we take one. If they need a cuddle, they get one.

Questions
Something else on your mind? Call us. We'd rather talk it through than have you guess.
Yes. Nervous dogs are exactly why we work one at a time. We go slowly, take breaks, and hand-dry dogs who don't like the dryer. For very anxious dogs we sometimes split a first groom into two short visits.
A bath is usually one to one and a half hours. A full groom is two to three, depending on size and coat. We text you when they're close to done so they're never waiting around.
No. There are no crates in the studio. Between steps your dog rests on a padded mat next to us, and they go home with you as soon as they're finished.
Rabies and DHPP, up to date. A photo of your vet record by text is fine. Puppies can come in for their first groom once they've had their second round of shots.
Brushing out tight mats hurts, so we won't force it. We'll call you, explain the options, and usually recommend a short, comfortable cut that lets the coat grow back healthy.
Tuesday to Saturday on Dundas West. Weekday mornings usually have space within the week.
